Hubby, the urban mobility hub, uses the notion of modularity taking it to the extreme, changing its shape like a chameleon changes colours. Designed in collaboration with the WWF, Hubby is made entirely of wood. It can be completely customised, adapting its features and dimensions depending on the needs of the area where it will be placed: from bus stop to Amazon locker, from recycling point to car-charging station, Hubby is the new frontier of functional urban modular design. Layouts can be tailored and can also contain a number of different services simultaneously. For example, a single customised hub can serve as info point, public water distribution facility, milk dispenser, parking point and vending machine – all at the same time.
Much like an urban chameleon, Hubby can be completely tailored to fit the specific needs of the area it will be placed in.
